GENERAL ASSEMBLY: These cannot be missed; the most important decisions made by the IVSA are made here and important subjects are addressed in which your country should participate. You can talk about activities which take place in your local chapter, the constitution is revised and nominations take place for the next ExCo and organizing countries of the next Symposium and Congress… YOUR VOTE COUNTS!

DEVELOPMENT FUND AUCTION: This is an important event to be prepared for. Bring along typical items from your country (i.e. crafts, beverages, etc…) or your university (books, clothing…) or just anything for the auction. Things from all around the world will be auctioned at the silent or live auction. It'll be fun and the money made goes to the Development Fund for less priveleged veterinary faculties.

CULTURAL EVENING: Food and drink from each country is shared during a very special night. Bring with you typical food, desserts and beverages from your country. A space will be provided for each country and cooking time for those who'll need it… bring decorations for your space for they will be welcomed!

FORMAL DINNER: Eagerly awaited by many of us is the night on which we get to dress up in our best clothes and dine together in a (not so) formal way. We'd like to take you somewhere special... so try to pack something nice to wear!!

WORKSHOPS: The workskops are small groups which work on a given subject. When applying, you'll be asked to choose 1 out of 8-10 workshops which you would be most interested in participating in.


EO (Exchange Officer) MEETING: All the Exchange Officers get together to get to know each other and share problems and experiences relating to exchanges which take place at their local chapters.

TALENT SHOW: The event with the most laughs… each country chooses to play a routine (embarrassment doesn't exist at this event) for the other countries. Anything goes: dancing, singing, theatricals… whatever!! Bring along with you anything you'll need for your routine: costumes, music, etc…

SURPRISE EVENT: Surprise and unforgetable :)
